5G and its effect in India

We have heard of 5G term a lot in the last year. There has been a lot of technology that is being developed for both individuals as well as businesses. The 5G is a next-generation technology that will make the network faster and better. It is expected to boost the speed by at least 10 time the existing 4G. Even there are reports that eventually it can be developed into 80-100 times faster. The reason is that the bandwidth will be high. The frequencies used by 5G is around 30 GHz, whereas it is 6 GHz in 4G. It will mean that a lot a greater number of devices can connect to a point with less disturbance. The latency will reduce which means the calls will be easily connected and make sure that cloud platforms will work better and faster. It can change the way telecom works in India by the speed and facilities it promises. The entire digital scenario will change and it goes up into another level. Internet of Things and digital connectivity like self-driving cars will come up. The government will be connected and can run multiple departments and things quickly. Something as small as traffic can be controlled by one person siting and one place and cameras can be used for surveillance. But there are a lot of limitations, mainly because of the cost it involves in buying spectrum and setting up the network, which will be ultimately put up on the customer. Also, the fast network might help hackers and bad guys get into and steal the data quickly. It is great thing no doubt, but it has to be used with caution.
